A New Chapter at SRLV: Jonathan Carter promoted to partner in Entrepreneurs Division
West End accountancy firm SRLV have appointed Jonathan Carter as a new partner in its Entrepreneurs Division, signifying the continuation of a new wave of expansion.
Jonathan, a certified accountant (FCCA), joined SRLV as a junior in 1999 and was appointed director in the firm’s Entrepreneurs Division in 2019. During his career, he’s developed extensive experience in corporate advisory, business valuations and due diligence, supporting clients across sectors including real estate, premium hospitality, professional services and pharmaceuticals.
“With a new generation of partners taking SRLV forward”, begins Jonathan as he reflects on his appointment, “it’s a great time to join the partnership and I’m looking forward to helping shape the future direction of the business.”
“I started my career with SRLV more than 25 years ago when we were a team of just 50”, explains Jonathon. “I’ve seen some big changes over the years, but although we are now a team of 300, the firm’s friendly culture hasn’t changed. It is still a fun and sociable place to work.”
SRLV executive chairman Marc Voulters said Jonathan’s progression reflects both his expertise and the opportunities available to people developing their careers within the firm. “Jonathan has been with SRLV for over 25 years and has been key to furthering the growth of our Entrepreneurs’ Division. His progression from newly qualified senior to partner is a testament to his skill as an adviser and dedication to clients, as well as illustrating the opportunities for staff to develop their careers here.”
Jonathan is part of a new wave of partners at SRLV and is the fifth partner to be appointed since October 2025. The firm plans to further expand its 21-strong partnership over the coming years.
