Sara Brassington
Sara is the Managing Director of ETL GLOBAL UK, where she leads the growth and development of one of the UK’s fastest-expanding professional services groups across accounting, tax, legal and advisory services.
Having helped establish the UK arm of the international ETL GLOBAL group, Sara has played a central role in building strategic partnerships and supporting ambitious independent firms through growth, collaboration and succession planning. She leads with a strong focus on partner relationships, collaboration, and creating long-term strategic alignment across the UK group, while helping firms retain their individual culture and entrepreneurial strengths.
Expertise + -
With a background in accountancy and extensive experience in the professional services sector, Sara has particular expertise in business development, group integration, strategic growth, and relationship management.
Her approach reflects the wider philosophy of ETL GLOBAL: supporting firms with the infrastructure, expertise, and international connectivity needed to thrive in an increasingly complex professional services landscape. Under her leadership, ETL Global UK has continued to expand its nationwide presence while maintaining a strong emphasis on personalised client service, innovation, and long-term partnerships.
Outlook & Ambition + -
Sara’s outlook is firmly anchored in long-term, sustainable value creation rather than short-term expansion. She is focused on building a UK platform that supports ambitious firms through every stage of their journey, from growth and succession through to integration into a wider international ecosystem, while ensuring they retain their independence, identity and entrepreneurial drive.
A consistent theme in her approach is the belief that strong relationships and alignment of values matter more than scale alone. She is particularly focused on deepening collaboration across the UK group, strengthening trust between partner firms, and creating the conditions for shared success across different geographies and specialisms.
Sara also sees significant opportunity in helping firms navigate structural change in the profession, from evolving client expectations to the impact of technology and AI, by providing the infrastructure and connectivity that allows them to adapt without losing their core strengths.
Her long-term ambition is to help shape a group that is not only larger, but more connected, more resilient, and better able to support the next generation of professional services leaders.
